Zusammenfassung

In Abgrenzung zum Ileus werden unter der Dysphagie Krankheitszustände subsummiert, bei denen eine Passagestörung im oberen Gastrointestinaltrakt bis zur Flexura duodenojejunalis (Treitz-Band) zu einer gestörten Essenaufnahme führt. Diese Passagestörung kann mechanisch-obstruktiv oder paralytisch bedingt sein, ebenso aber Ausdruck einer therapieassoziierten Morbidität oder einer unerwünschten Arzneimittelwirkung. Abhängig von der Ursache und dem vom Patienten formulierten Therapieziel können neben allgemeinen Maßnahmen sowohl medikamentöse als auch interventionell-operative Therapieansätze mit vertretbarer Morbidität und respektablen funktionellen Ergebnissen gewählt werden.
