Zusammenfassung
Die Chromatographie wurde Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts erstmals vom russischen Botaniker Michail S. Zwet beschrieben, der die Methode entwickelte, um Pflanzenfarbstoffe zu trennen. Der Name Chromatographie ist aus dem Griechischen abgeleitet und bedeutet „Farbenschreiben“.
