Abstract
Here and in the subsequent chapters as well we shall deal with systems and applications separately. In practise, however, both aspects are intertwined with each other, and changes in parameters on one level will with near certainty have impact on the other. But there are at least two reasons for reducing the overall problems by separate considerations:
