Zusammenfassung
Mit der Möglichkeit, die einzelnen ‚Bausteine‘ des Fortpflanzungsprozesses, also Eizelle, Samenzelle oder Embryo oder alles zusammen, aus dem körperlichen Zusammenhang herauszulösen und — wenn die rechtlichen und vor allem die ökonomischen Voraussetzungen stimmen — über sie beinahe beliebig verfügen zu können, werden viele Annahmen über die menschliche Entwicklung in Frage gestellt. Auch das Konzept von Individualität ist vor diesem Hintergrund neu zu überdenken, allerdings möchte ich auf diesen Aspekt hier nicht weiter eingehen.
