Zusammenfassung
Aromatherapie: Bereits in alten Hochkulturen, wie z. B. in Mesopotamien und Ägypten, wurden Duftstoffe, Öle und Pflanzen, meist in Form von Räucherwerk, für therapeutische und rituelle Zwecke genutzt. In Europa bekam die Aromatherapie ihren Namen durch Rene Maurice Gattefosse, Chemiker aus Lyon, der 1937 das Wissen und die Erfahrungen unter dem Begriff Aromatherapie zusammenfasste und die Heilwirkung der Aromaöle beschrieb. Tiergestützte Therapie: Es gibt sowohl wissenschaftliche Studien als auch positive Erfahrungsberichte jener, die bereits erfolgreich tiergestützte Therapie betreiben. In der Osteopathie wird die wechselseitige Beziehung zwischen Struktur und Funktion in den Vordergrund gestellt. Der Organismus soll unterstützt werden, Ressourcen zur Wiederherstellung und Erhaltung der Gesundheit einzusetzen.
