Abstract

The measurements were carried out in a 72 mm square shock tube. A 24° angle wedge was mounted in the shock tube. The shock velocity changed from 600 to 2500 m/sec, the incident pressure being 12 mm Hg. A 1 mm pressure gauge and a thin film platinum gauge were located in the wedge surface. Experimental methods were described in [5]. The experiments were made in air and in carbon dioxyde.
