Motor Coordination and Neuromuscular Activities in Human Locomotion

  • Chapter
Biomechanics of Motion

Part of the book series: International Centre for Mechanical Sciences ((CISM,volume 263))

Abstract

The study of the biomechanics of locomotion provides very extensive and interesting material for designing different aids for locomotory handicapped, and for investigating the physiological processes involved and the neural mechanisms controlling the system.
