Kurzfassung
Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, eine Realisierung eines Gateways zwischen Java und LonWorks zu beschreiben1. Der Zweck dieses Gateways liegt im Bereich komfortabler Fernsteuerungen, es lassen sich aber mit geeigneten Verfahren auch Anwendungen zur Visualisierung, Konfiguration oder gar Wartung von LonWorks-Kontrollnetzen entwickeln. Bei der Implementierung wurde viel Wert auf Einfachheit und Nachvollziehbarkeit gelegt; ebenso wurden Standardentwicklungsumgebungen und weit verbreitete Entwicklungsplattformen verwendet. Sicherheitsaspekte und ein Blick auf zukünftige Java-basierte Technologien zur Fernsteuerung von Kontrollnetzen runden die Arbeit ab.
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to describe the implementation of a JavaLonWorks gateway1. Such a gateway has a lot of applications, like comfortable remote control, visualisation, configuration or maintenance of LonWorks networks. We want to point out that the implementation is easy to understand; common platforms and development environments are used in order to decrease development costs. Security and Java-based future developments are discussed at the end of this paper.
