Abstract

Measurements of airway responsiveness have improved our understanding of asthma considerably. But of course we still have a lot to learn. In this presentation, am going to start by saying a little about measurement before going on to talk about the interrelationships between hyperresponsiveness and the other characteristics of asthma. The objective of the presentation is to illustrate how these studies have improved our understanding of the nature of asthma and its treatment.
