Abstract
In certain situations neither DRCs nor time-course studies are obtained, yet combined effects are evaluated. The most simple approach is to study the effects of single doses of A and B (C…) alone and combined, in full or reduced doses, e.g., where DRC- and time-course studies are not possible or not appropriate. Hence, single-dose studies are done in all disciplines, e.g., in orienting experiments, or in clinical pharmacology and in toxicology.
