Fortschritte in der Diagnostik und Therapie schizophrener Minussymptomatik

Zusammenfassung

Die Positiv-Negativ-Dichotomie der Schizophrenie und die mit der Negativ- bzw. Minussymptomatik Schizophrener zusammenhängenden Phänomene haben im Verlauf des letzten Jahrzehnts eine ungemein große Resonanz gefunden. Es bestand die Erwartung, daß sich mit dieser Symptomatik eine hinsichtlich Pathogenese und Prognose eigenständige und bedeutsame Subgruppe schizophrener Kranker abgrenzen ließe. Von besonderem Interesse erscheint die Frage, welche biologischen Befunde man mit der Minussymptomatik Schizophrener assoziiert findet. Entsprechende Befunde hierzu könnten möglicherweise wertvolle Ergänzungen zur psychopathologischen Charakterisierung der Minussymptomatik, die bis heute kontrovers gehandhabt wird (Fenton und McGlashan 1992), und gegebenenfalls auch Hinweise auf die Pathogenese der Negativsymptomatik, zu der sehr unterschiedliche Konzepte vorliegen (Malmberg und David 1993), erbringen.
