Abstract

In this chapter, we shall introduce some results on the global existence and exponential stability of solutions to a class of 1 D thermoelastic equations of hyperbolic type, which models the thermoelastic system of type II with a thermal memory. The results of this chapter are chosen from Qin and Muñoz Rivera [340].
