Das Cockpit ist der Arbeitsplatz des Fahrers. In dem Bereich kommt neben der Technik ein menschlicher Einfluss ins Spiel. Ergonomie ist entscheidend, dass der Fahrer die möglichen Fahrleistungen eines Fahrzeugs auch tatsächlich umzusetzen vermag.
