Zusammenfassung
Ein Diversitätsempfänger verarbeitet mehrere Versionen der gleichen Nachricht, wobei die Nachricht über N >1 möglichst unabhängige Kanäle übertragen wird. Bild 22.1 zeigt das Prinzip eines Diversitätsempfängers am Beispiel von Raumdiversität. Die Hauptmotivation für Diversitätsempfang ist, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass alle N Kanäle gleichzeitig abgeschattet sind, geringer ist als ohne Diversitätsempfang (N = 1).
