Abstract
Analyses of workplace culture are increasingly being conducted as a way to success. The research approach recommended is needs analysis through language use, word types and needs expressed by individual employees. It has become crucial to best accommodate co-workers by finding out what needs they have and ways to enhance workplace operations. In today’s transcultural workplace communication, a phenomenon stemming from encouraged worldwide mobility, new questions arise and researchers are using new approaches in problem solving (Creese 2005; Jasso-Aguilar 2005; Myers 2005; Rock 2005). Theoretical models (Long 2005; Gee 2005; Wenger 1998; Lave and Wenger 1991; Rogoff 1984) are also developed in order to provide a background for the analyses.
