Die Darstellung des Standes der Forschung zur Koordination von Innovationsprojekten führt in Verbindung mit den identifizierten Defiziten und den daraus abgeleiteten Forschungsfragen zur Methodik für die durchzuführende empirische Studie. Die Wahl der Methodik ist entscheidend für die empirische Studie und hat die Art und Form der Forschungsfragen zu berücksichtigen.1 Deswegen wird in diesem Kapitel die Forschungsmethodik und damit die Form der empirischen Analyse dargestellt. Dafür werden im Abschnitt 6.1 zunächst einige methodische Grundlagen zur empirischen Studie diskutiert. Im Abschnitt 6.2 werden die Forschungsstrategie und -methodik dargestellt. Der Abschnitt 6.3 erläutert das Forschungsdesign sowie die Datenaufnahme und -auswertung.
