Summary

The results of investigations concerning the stability limit and the state of stress in the spacers which are assumed to be the structural anisotropic domes composed of cylindrical shells are presented. The developed cascade method of free parameters suitable for the numerical solution of the problem with the help of a computer is described. An application from the region of the spacers for nuclear reactors - including the numerical results and correlation with the case of the plate - type spacers - is shown.
