Riassunto

La valutazione accurata del paziente oncologico è il cardine del giudizio clinico e della scelta di terapie, singole o in associazione. La funzione dell’imaging nella conservazione d’organo è fondamentale; ess a risulterà tanto più precisa ed efficace quanto più accurata sarà la valutazione clinica e stretta la collaborazione clinico-radiologica, meglio ancora se multidisciplinare, per conoscere nei minimi particolari sede, estensione, entità del tumore, rapporti e interessamento di strutture adiacenti, presenza di adenopatie e verifica délle possibilité di preservazione d’organo.
