Abstract

Intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) offers many conceptual advantages in ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablation, although presently it is not routinely used. This discussion will focus on the potential application of ICE imaging to ablation procedures for idiopathic and post-infarction VT, as well as the remaining obstacles preventing more wide-scale implementation.
