Abstract

Acute atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia seen in the intensive care setting. Echocardiography can be helpful in the management and diagnosis of many of the causes of AF and other arrhythmias. In this chapter we propose an ultrasound approach to AF and other common arrhythmias in ICUs.
