Samenvatting
In de laatste decennia zijn, voornamelijk door systematische vaccinaties, grote veranderingen opgetreden in de frequentie van voorkomen van exanthematische infectieziekten bij kinderen. Het voorkomen van mazelen, waaraan vroeger bijvoorbeeld slechts een enkel kind ontsnapte, is tegenwoordig zeldzaam. In dit hoofdstuk zullen de diverse ziektebeelden naar globale volgorde van incidentie worden besproken.
