Abstract
In dit hoofdstuk worden de taak en functie van de verschillende sociaal-geneeskundigen beschreven. Zij zijn werkzaam op vele terreinen, zoals preventie, advisering, beleid, arbeid en gezondheid. Duidelijk wordt dat sociaal-geneeskundigen anders denken dan curatief werkzame artsen en dat dit de samenwerking nogal eens in de weg staat.
