Samenvatting

Van premature atherosclerose is sprake als cardiaal, cerebraal of perifeer vaatlijden zich openbaart op relatief jonge leeftijd. Volgens de Europese richtlijnen is dit voor het 55e levensjaar voor mannen en voor het 65e levensjaar voor vrouwen.
