Inleiding

Het volwassen bekken (os coxae ) vormt de verbinding tussen de wervelkolom en de onderste extremiteiten.1 De aansluiting met de wervelkolom wordt tot stand gebracht door de beide sacro-iliacale gewrichten en de aansluiting met de onderste extremiteiten door de beide heupgewrichten.
