Introductie
Pijn in de pols is vaak moeilijk klinisch te diagnosticeren. Niet zelden wordt bij vage polsklachten de pseudodiagnose RSI of KANS gebruikt. Toch bestaan er allerlei differentieerbare orthopedische aandoeningen, zoals scafolunaire instabiliteit (DISI), scafoïdfractuur, necrose van het os lunatum (ziekte van Kienböck), letsel van het triangulaire fibrocartilagineuze complex (TFC-complex), letsel van de hamulus ossis hamati of compressie in het kanaal van Guyon. De patiënt uit deze casus was jarenlang keeper in een hockeyteam en viel dus frequent op zijn handen. De pijn in zijn pols is iets ulnair van het midden gelokaliseerd. Wat kan hier aan de hand zijn?
