Samenvatting
Niet-traumatische klachten van het bewegingsapparaat komen frequent voor. Gewrichtsklachten kunnen optreden bij uiteenlopende ziektebeelden zoals auto-immuunziekten, metabole aandoeningen en degeneratieve afwijkingen, maar ook bij pijnsyndromen of bij lokale gewrichts- en peesproblematiek. Om tot een goede diagnose te komen en een adequate behandeling te kunnen instellen is een volledige anamnese, gevolgd door een gedegen lichamelijk onderzoek en het juiste aanvullend onderzoek noodzakelijk. In dit hoofdstuk komen diverse oorzaken van gewrichtsklachten aan bod, waarbij telkens de differentiële diagnose en de diagnostische work-up wordt besproken. Ook wordt een aantal aandoeningen die gepaard gaan met vaatafwijkingen, besproken.
