Dit hoofdstuk beschrijft een kenmerkende casus van een acromioclaviculair ligamentletsel met daarbij de bevindingen van het functieonderzoek en de belangrijkste klinische tests. De bespreking na de casus gaat dieper in op de oorzaken, de anatomie en de therapeutische mogelijkheden, waaronder een oefenprogramma, om het aangedane gewricht te stabiliseren.
