Abstract

The Standard Model is a remarkably successful theory, consistent with all known experimental facts1. Yet there is good reason to believe that it is incomplete, and that new physics must come into play close to a TeV. Hopefully this new physics will be accessible at the Large Hadron Collider, which will begin gathering data a few years from now.
