Abstract
Naturwissenschaften, Mathematik, Psychologie, Phänomenologie, so ist in groben Zügen die Entwicklung von Husserls Forscherinteressen verlaufen. Aber dies ist keine Einbahnstrasse: Sogar in der späten Wissenschaftskritik der Krisis findet sich nicht einfach eine Ablehnung der Wissenschaft.Husserl plädiert eher dafür, die Wissenschaften hochzuschätzen, aber zugleich ihre charakteristischen Beschränkungen, ihre ungeklärten Voraussetzungen und die fehlerhaften Übertragungen ihrer idealisierenden Voraussetzungen auf das menschliche Leben aufmerksam im Blick zu behalten und – wo es notwendig ist – diese auch zurückzuweisen.
