Abstract

Land and therefore soil in Bangladesh is a limited but very important natural resource. This resource is being abused, misused, and degraded by a great many factors. There are a number of issues that need immediate attention for keeping this natural resource sustainable and meaningful for future generations. A number of future research possibilities and issues are discussed in this chapter.
