The Global Age has brought a growing demand across nations for a reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy source. The energy industry brings nations enormous challenges and is at the center of a fierce global power play. Energy is a great strategic, political, economic, national, as well as a global significance tool that has a potential to change the position of industries and nations in the coming years. This chapter briefly addresses the global energy industry and its associated risks.
