Abstract
The aim of the present study was to show differences between adolescents from complete and incomplete families concerning their perception of parents’ behavior, their fear, and expressed and unexpressed anger. The research included 126 girls and boys. The methodology consisted of standard scientifically verified and validated psychometric tools to assess the feelings and behavior outlined above. The major finding was that in the adolescents from incomplete families the acceptant and inconsequent behavior significantly increased the level of fear they felt which was associated with the expression of anger. Both reactions – fear and anger seem to be strictly connected with the adolescents’ gender.
