Abstract

In this short book, an attempt was made to show the phenomenological roots of the four principles, beneficence, nonmaleficence, respect for autonomy and justice, and how they can better be understood through the phenomenology of the physician–patient relationship if they are to be given the direction of the telos of medicine.
