Abstract

In cell biology particularly interesting to us is the answer to the question: how does growth of the cell occur and its reproduction leading to the formation of two daughter cells of similar nature. Interest in cell proliferation is the result of the fact that, in spite of accumulation of the results of multidirectional investigations, a univocal concept is lacking which would describe the mechanism controlling a normal cell cycle. Neither is a uniform interpretation available which would explain uncontrolled cell growth leading to pathological changes in the organism.
