Abstract

The consumption of electrical energy, attributable to household appliances, is approximately half of the total domestic consumption. The domestic consumption is one quarter of the total consumptions of a nation such as Germany.

Consequently, creating more efficient household appliances means a greater decrease in consumptions. At times, this also signifies less pollution and minor raw material waste.

Two parallel processes, evolution and innovation, have improved product performance.

Innovations such as the new washing method, the JET-SYSTEM in particular, enable notable savings.

In the future, the introduction of electronic technologies, with the development of the Home-System and of the Integrated Kitchen, will enable us to obtain savings levels which no single electrical household appliance may reach.
