Abstract
The overall ‘product cycle’ for design and engineering of a batch chemical plant, measured in days to marketplace, has increasingly been subjected to an innovative approach. The aim has been to reduce design costs and achieve accelerated construction and commissioning periods to enable early beneficial operation. The business driver is securing market share in a competitive environment.
