Abstract

In the discourse about the harmony between perfume and personality we have, thus far, considered only woman as the user of fragrance. We will now deal with the question of whether and to what extent man can use fragrance within today’s canons of taste. Taking into account the thesis that the fashions of each sex are determined by the wishes and the taste of the other sex, the question becomes, more precisely: is the use of fragrance by man in accord with modern woman’s taste?
