Abstract

The magic-angle spinning experiment is described and its use with cross-polarization to obtain high-resolution spectra of dilute spins is discussed, with examples. Spectral editing by dipolar dephasing is presented. The occurrence of spinning sidebands and their analysis are reviewed. Several experiments using two-dimensional methods with magic-angle spinning are described, particularly for the study of chemical exchange and/or spin diffusion.
