Abstract

As clearly stated in the Introductory talk, during the Opening Ceremony, the significance of the Conference was in gathering together scientists actively working in different research fields with a common background of expertises, in order to highlight a varied but in some sense unified scenario of the interaction of rotation, turbulence and magnetism in different astrophysical systems, with primary interest in stars and accretion disks and specific regard to objects and topics ranging from star formation, solar and stellar magnetic activity, and close binaries, to neutron stars, X-ray galactic sources and active galactic nuclei (AGN).
