Abstract
We in Allied Metal and Engineering Works have been working on Solar Water Heating Systems since 1975, in association with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) till 1978 and independently from 1979 onwards. We have had the opportunity of learning from the failures and successes of the system designed, manufactured and commissioned under the guidance of BHEL Solar Systems group, and the performance of the system designed and commissioned by us.
