Abstract

It will be obvious from the history of endocrinology so far, that from the 16th century onwards to 1900, most of the dramatis personae lived and worked in Europe — in Italy, France, Germany and in Britain. The majority of the people from whom the modern Americans descended came to the New World from Europe, or were brought from Africa, usually forcibly, mainly after 1600.
