Biology of the Ovary

Part of the book series: Developments in Obstetrics and Gynecology ((DIOG,volume 2))

Abstract

Although during the last ten years the interstitial cells of the ovary have been extensively studied with refined histochemical, biochemical and ultrastructural methods, many aspects of the histophysiology of this important ovarian component are still very poorly understood.
