Abstract

It is well known that the description of drip-line nuclei is a great challenge for the theoretical nuclear physics. If we go beyond the drip-line then the nucleus become particle unstable, from the ground state it can emit particles. The description of the decay width poses even more difficulties. A proper formulation may require the combination of structure and scattering models or perhaps time dependent formulation. If we are interested in only the position and the decay width of a resonance state then with the help of the complex scaling [1] we can overcome the difficulties. The combination of standard nuclear structure models with complex scaling enables us to get the decay with using only bound state type techniques.
