Abstract

The objective of this chapter within the scope of the volume is to correctly position the sustainable development of the tourism sector within the context of the Venetian society and economy and to provide the decision-makers with a support instrument, in the form of a coherent strategy for the development of tourism, in their resolution to balance growth and conservation.
