Abstract
At the SIDUO XI Congress we dealt with the errors in the diagnosis of retinoblastoma. In a period of 8 years, during which we studied 60 neoplasias, 40 of which were enucleated, we had 4 errors (2 false positives: choroidal hemangiomas and Coats’ disease and 2 false negatives: panuveitis and vitrous hemorrhage). The differential diagnosis of retinoblastoma is closely associated with that of leucocoria.
