Abstract

A film has been made as a teaching aid to increase awareness among students and various professional people of the study of color vision, its practical assessment and the resulting applications. The film has five parts: (1) an introduction indicating quantitative aspects of color vision in pathology, (2) a brief explanation of the foundations of colorimetry, (3) the definition and description of congenital and acquired dyschromatopsia, (4) a description of tests for evaluating dyschromatopsia and (5) a conclusion in which the respective ergonomie and medical significance of congenital and acquired dyschromatopsia is outlined. The film is accompanied by a textbook.
