Abstract

Each year in the International Space University’s Master of Space Studies (MSS) program, the students engage in a team-based activity to produce a report or product of significance to the international space community. In doing so, the students develop their skills in intercultural and interdisciplinary communication, teamwork, and knowledge synthesis. This work prepares them to be especially effective in their subsequent professional careers. Team Design Project activities are also expected to provide a fresh look at developing and/or utilizing space science and technology.
