Abstract

The interaction between an underwater shock wave and homogeneous plates and shells has been investigated by many authors and therefore is elaborated in details in most respects. However it is not possible to assert the same about extending the developed approaches to the interaction of a pressure wave and submerged sandwich plates [1, 2]. In this case it is necessary to point out two main features of the problem which make its solution rather complicated.
