Abstract

This chapter is primarily devoted to a discussion of the risk acceptance criteria that are used, and the background to how they are established. This background comes to a large extent from the current risk levels. It is therefore considered appropriate to discuss as a starting point, the current risk levels, exemplified by values from the North Sea.
