Notes

  1. 1.

The inquiry cycle approach builds on the work of Kolb and his colleagues that suggests experiential learning occurs in a recursive cycle of experiencing, reflecting, thinking, and acting. Students are guided to reflect on the things they are experiencing in the field and then to use their interpretations to act. See Kolb and Kolb (2005) and Kolb (2015).
